I would like to welcome you to Southern Belles.

As many of you know my real name is Patti. I am married to a wonderful man whose name is Michael. We were married on April 9, 1999 in Thomasville Georgia.

My husband and I have been living in Florida for almost 5 years now. We decided that it was time for us to move back to where Michael grew up and try to set down permanent roots. We have bought a new house and finally got settled in after every calamity possible. We now have a place that we can call home.

Between the two of us we have 4 wonderful children, ranging from age 12 to age 26.

Nick, Brandie and Jake live in Valdosta GA with their mother and come to visit when we can get the logistics worked out. It is hard when we live so far apart.

Jimmy, our 26 year old lives in Kentucky with his wife Christy.
They have blessed us with a beautiful grandson named Noah. He is growing so fast that grandma can't keep up. Take a look at his pages and see my little angel. *S*

As you can see from my website, I love all things southern. I think I was born about 200 years late. I would love to be able to go back in time. I am sure I would feel right at home.

I enjoy doing many things but one of my favorites has to be cooking. I have been collecting cookbooks for years and have many favorite recipes. I have put a lot of these recipes online in the Social Gourmet so if you are looking for something really good to eat please visit and help yourself to any or all of them.

I love doing web design work and have my own business called Southern Belle Creations. I do all my own custom graphics which to me isn't work..*LOL*  I get to sit and play and create things.  One of the pages that I designed was written up in the top Trucking Newspaper for Canada. I am very pleased with the response the page has received.

I have several hobbies that have captured my interest over the years.  These include quilting and ceramics, but there just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day to do them anymore...I have a beautiful "Lover's Knot" quilt that is just dying to be finished but I just keep moving it around and ignoring it..*LOL*  If I lived somewhere where it wasn't always 80 degrees it might just get done out of necessity..*LOL*

Again, Welcome to Southern Belles. Pull up a chair, have a hot cup of tea or a cool mint julep and enjoy your stay. You are always welcome.

Please sign my guestbook before you leave so that I can thank you for visiting.

Click here to view my other guestbook..it reached it's limit from all the wonderful visits so I had to retire it and get another one...*S*
